The New Tyne Crossing is one of the most significant capital expenditure projects to take place in the North East. This £200 million project has already greatly alleviated traffic congestion and has aided employment by allowing residents to travel more easily to jobs elsewhere in the region.
Bradley O’Mahoney has represented the interests of the Tyne & Wear Integrated Transport Authority from the initial design and consultation stage through to a Ministerial Inquiry and to the official opening.
In addition to this project, Bradley O’Mahoney has also provided communications support around the iconic Tyne Pedestrian and Cyclist Tunnels which sits on the bed of the River Tyne. The tunnels have been closed for a major refurbishment and upgrade. Bradley O’Mahoney has managed community engagement, web build, social media, news media and the official opening.
